Sidholme Hotel is a gracious Georgian mansion and has been welcoming guests for over 75 years. It was built for the 6th Earl of Buckinghamshire in 1826 and was known as Richmond Lodge. It has a magnificant music room complete with fine chanderliers and a gothic style organ. It is located in 9 acres of grounds and includes a heated swimming pool. It is located only a few minutes walk from the centre of the town of Sidmouth and the sea front on the Jurasic Coast.which is a World Heritage Site. Have a look at their website.
My Yoga Retreat will be located in the hotel and will involve yoga, meditation, mindfulness and yoga nidra. I can also offer Bowen therapy over the weekend. The cost is £320 (paid 1 month before). If you have been to one of my retreats before there is a discounted price of £280. A non-refundable deposit of £50 is needed to confirm your place. All meals from Friday evening through to lunch on Sunday are included.
Wherever possible we will practice yoga outside in the grounds. The Hotel has a lovely room which we would have sole use of for the whole weekend for the yoga, the meals will be within the Hotel with our own dining room, food will be vegetarian.
The swimming pool will be open from 7.30am-8.30pm, and is very peaceful and you can often enjoy sole use.
Single/double/twin on-suite rooms are available. Reduced fee available for non yoga partners sharing a room who are welcome to join in on the walks.
